Emergency Stabilization and When to Refer
Sponsored by:

Mary Aslanian, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Mary Aslanian received her DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a small animal rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Angel Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Following her internship, Dr. Aslanian completed a residency in small animal emergency and critical care at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She is board certified in emergency and critical care by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Aslanian has a strong interest in coagulation, sepsis, shock, wound management, nutritional support, and any life-threatening and critical care case.

In her free time, Dr. Aslanian can be found cycling, trail running, and playing soccer around the DFW Metroplex. She's the proud owner of a 11-year-old cat named Shammy. Veterinary medicine was a natural fit for Dr. Aslanian as it allowed her to combine her interests of science and animals. She joined the VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic team in June 2016.
